Ali Yucad is a college counselor at HorizonIstanbul Counseling and although his field of expertise is Canada, he also guides students for graduate programs and coaches them fort he GRE and GMAT. At the same time he is the IT and finance director of the company.

He graduated from Uskudar American Academy in 1996. His interest for quantitative fields led him to study electrical and electronics engineering as an undergraduate (Isik University, Class of 2000) In 2002 he received his MBA degree from Sabancı University. After working as an engineer for three years, he decided that the field of education was his vocation and he started to work as an assistant college counselor in HorizonIstanbul. Gaining experience in the educational systems of the USA, UK and Canada, he focused on advising students aiming for Canada.

HorizonIstanbul currently benefits from Ali Yucad’s expertise in management and IT, giving him a variety of responsibilities as financial manager, IT specialist, college counselor and an instructor. He admits that each duty has helped him to develop different skills and working one on one with students is what satisfies him the most.
