Zekiye Gedik was born in Bursa in 1987 and graduated from the Mudanya Sami Evkuran Anadolu High School in 2005. Later, she  attended Boğaziçi University’s dual diploma program with SUNY Binghamton and earned a dual degree in 2011. That same year, she began her career as an assistant counselor at HorizonIstanbul. After gaining experience in managing the preparatiıon process of students applying to schools in the USA and UK, she focused on UK schools and gained  further expertise by visiting most of the schools she advised to her students in the UK. In addition, she has become a certifed ELS Counselor at HorizonIstanbul after attending the ELS Counselor Certification Program in April 2013.
